Anyone know of some companies that buy old computers and electronics? Our bank is going green and we have some old equipment to get rid of. We would like to recycle instead of throw it all out.

Check http://www.earth911.org for your local area.

If all else fails you can drop them off at your jurisdictions Household Hazardous Waste Collection site. They do recycle as much as possible. If they are functional, you might also see if there’s a school or charity that will take them. You won’t get paid for this, but there might be a tax advantage. Salvation Army and Goodwill will also repair any broken electronics.

Of course, just a reminder to be safe and scrub the hard drives.
