Television LCD Plasma CRT TV Monitor eWaste Bulk Electronic Scrap Town Dump Recycling

Hey guys, first turn your mic up, Anyway, this is a typical day to day pile of mostly CRT televisions and monitors at my town dump. The heap often wanders out of the confines of the receptacle much to the dismay of the personal. So besides the obvious like a few quid for the Craigslist/eBay resale{along with the hassle, is there any money/bulk profit in this? I know there is about 1-2 Lbs of copper & stuff but I’m interested more in the precious metals like gold/silver, palladium, etc., or how much cash would you give me for a untested lot (I just loathe heavy lifting so bring muscle if you are a cheapskate!) such as this? {Once again this has changed several times over since I took this picture back in in the Spring 2010. Question by Mind Crime: Where or how does one ”recycle” televisions? Properly?
My 27” finally pooped itself after 12yrs faithful service.
I don’t want to chuck the thing into the landfill..so if you ”Saints of the Earth” enviros could direct me to the proper place I would appreciate it…and no it can’t be repaired and donated to anyone..it’s garbage.
