This is clip 5 of 6 for this video. Shrink wrap on boats should be recycled. Propylene glycol antifreeze should be used and recycled. Waste engine oil must be handled aggressively. All waste oil is to be stored until picked up of reprocessing. Bilge water contaminated by oil or gasoline must be filtered and disposed of properly. Marinas should collect worn out lead acid batteries and store them properly until picked up for reprocessing into new batteries. Fed or NY State Recycling Laws regarding used ANTIFREEZE?

Question by smercly: Fed or NY State Recycling Laws regarding used ANTIFREEZE?
I live in NY State. Are there any laws that compel auto parts stores, service stations etc to accept old/used antifreeze. I believe the law requires them to accept used motor oil. Every place I called, even the chain stores and Jiffy Lube say they do not take it. My town has a pollutant collection program in April. I’d hate to have to wait.
